Got a really nice Tweet today as well from a gentlemen thanking me for the books and the effects it had on his marriage.  Very nice to hear.

 

It's one of the main problems for me is getting feedback - that's why Lit is so good.  People just don't want to admit that they read erotica, and it was this that lead me to move to KDP Select for a while - that way people can borrow (in secret, with no one knowing!).

 

Finger's crossed  - it works!

That means I have a weekend of writing and American Horror Story - Freak Show.  Just watched the first episode so far, but enjoyed it.  Must admit - nearly gave up on the whole thing after Coven!

Freezing

It's cold here in the UK. Had a dangerous dog walk this morning which saw me skidding around all over the place.

Worked on Corporate Hospitality again last night, really enjoying it.  It's not like The Third Muse at all - in so far as there is NO romance - it's pure erotica.  Office fantasy material, so it will be interesting to see how the book does when it's released.

Checking to see when I can try Select, but the books are still on Kobo, so I will have to wait a while.  I'm itching to get started with some serious promo - mind you, it's not like I don't have anything to do! Which reminds me.....

Smashwords

Hi all

I unpublished my books off Smashwords today, so I can enrol on KDP Select.

The little box told me that they would be available on ITunes, Nook and Kobo for a week or so.

If you use these readers then this is the last week you will be able to get my work (for 90 days or so).  I may put them back after a while, but I just want to see what Select can do for me.

Thoughts and rambles

Hello all,

This may be the last weekend that my books are available on ITunes, Nook and Kobo.  I have not seen many sales through these sites (yet) so may take them off and concentrate on Amazon for a while.

It's hard to find the time to market AND write, so I have a decision to make.

I have changed the Teaser also, as I don't want people to think that they are getting a TAME romance.  The Third Muse does have BDSM - it also has a plot, so takes a few pages to get to the ACTION as it were.

Anyway, back to it.  My coffee is getting cold.  Take a peek at the Teaser pages if you want a sample of my writing.  The Honey Keys books are just 99C - pennies, and will cost you about the same as a can of soda.  I bet I could tell you which one would last longer.

One thing I do want to say is that I don't write for a specific gender, hence why I don't write first person.  If you are unsure if my work is for you - the Teaser pages are a good place to start.

Dilema

At the moment wondering if I should come off Smashwords in favour of KDP Select.

After an initial flurry of downloads from Barnes and Noble and Apple the sales on these sites have ground to a halt, and at the moment there does not seem to be any reason for me to be there.

If I go KDP Select then users can borrow the books from the library if they want to.  I have looked on Oyster and Scribd, but can not see my books on there
(I don't think they carry erotica).

I'm mulling things over... with a coffee of course...

Anyway - back to mulling and typing.
